Consecutive 5 figure sales + No Reserve Auctions: Round 4

24/10/2008 - 10:46 am | By Richard Green | Place Comment

It's been refreshing to see 3 premium names sell for above $10,000 in a row, including two geographic domain names merimbula.com.au and reid.com.au at what I think are realistic prices given the current climate of the .au aftermarket.

A third 2 word non-geographical premium domain name was also sold for $10,000 recently. Results like these are helping Domain Trading Post assert it's position as the premier .au domain name aftermarket site with the figures on our domain sales page speaking for themselves.

No Reserve Auctions: Round Four

For this round of auctions we have introduced a minimum bid increment of $10. Happy bidding.

Just to get a few facts rights, I brought merimbula.com.au for 10,000 and merimbula.net.au for 5,000 which I believe is a bargain, if you want a nice life in retirement sitting by a PC, pay what is been requested for the geographic domain names as there is only 1. Dont let a chance slip by as I never thought I would ever own my town two top domain names. Look at the investment as a long term project and then you'll relize what a bargain you have pick up, just make sure though its the town(or product)name only as you can brand and market any name and word together on the internet and register it for $26, with a one word town or product name you dont have to spend money on branding, you play with the big boys straight off, let them spend money every year on branding, regards Mark Keltie

Couldn't agree with you more Mark. Good luck with the development of your new names.
