Over 2,100 new domain names listed for sale
31/07/2008 - 1:45 pm | By Richard Green | Place Comment
We have just finished importing over 2,100 new domain names, in various categories.
The addition of these names takes our total number of domains for sale to over 3,700! This makes Domain Trading Post the largest Australian domain name aftermarket (sorry Netfleet, we've over taken you!).
You may have noticed that the latest additions are all without prices - this is because we will be considering all reasonable offers on these domains.
We have also added more categories and sub categories to our listings, and revamped the 'Browse' page. Let us know what you think, we are always looking to improve the site.
Stay tuned for further updates, as we will soon be integrating our list with the domain search results on our domain registrar sites Discount Domain Name Services and Cheaper Domains, which will allow us to drive even more targeted and relevant traffic to the individual listings on this site.

Many of the names you list are worthless such as .net.au names.
You should try to set some standards as to what you accept
example
no numbers
.net.au
hyphons
OVER 20 characters
etc

Thanks for the feedback Micheal, i would tend to agree with you.
However at this stage we are willing to accept any names and will most likely refine the process as time goes on.

These could be exclusion options on the advanced search form? e.g., checkboxes for "exclude numbers", "exclude hyphens", and then things like maximum domain length, etc?

That's a good point Isaac. Thanks for your feedback, i will add that option to the advanced search.
